Feeling good in my maternity clothes

Image
Having the opportunity to feel life grow inside your body is a blessing! Image taken from THIS SITE I'm now in my 28th week of pregnancy. I just entered my last trimester. I guess that I can say that the frugal part of me is so happy because I didn't even had to buy any maternity clothes (yet)... Does it mean that I didn't gain weight? No, of course not! Gaining weight is a part of pregnancy. Not that I am a stranger to weight gain since I'm a plus-size! The main reason is that I favored stretchable clothes before. I'm not into jeans or cotton blouses either, as I prefer lycra. I guess that's why I was able to save money. At the same time, pregnancy is already hard enough. I think that being to wear the same clothes that I wore before made me feel a bit better. Let's take for example, this dress... I bought it at the SM Plus Size section. I can't remember how much is it but I guess it's somewhere at around Php 500, as I don't re

My growing stash of pocket diapers for the little one

As the due date of my baby is nearing, I have to make sure that I buy my little ones' stuff little by little. If you reached this post because you are looking for an easy way to understand cloth diapers, then I'm sorry but I don't think I can actually clarify everything with just one post. The only thing that I know is the type of cloth diaper that I have bought and that would be the pocket-type. However, THIS LINK cont

Pregnancy woes and how I stay positive through it all...

Who said being pregnant is all fun? Now, don't get me wrong. I am humbled by the fact that I am carrying and nurturing a life inside my body. It's certainly a very miraculous experience. The kicks, rolls, punches & squirms that your baby makes will always bring about a sweet smile. You will even find yourself daydreaming every now & then about how he/she might look like. Add the fact that you would be imagining yourself the future activities that you will be doing with them... That is priceless! However.... what others are not aware of is that being pregnant is also very challenging. The changes that your body undergoes can be pretty perplexing for most women. Count me on that "most women". Let me give you an idea of what a pregnant woman undergoes... 1. Aches and Pains I have never felt so lethargic & powerless in my life! I just feel so heavy. My joints just feel loose, that carrying my usual bag feels like I am carrying a 10 pound barbell. I
